When did it become ‘politically incorrect’ to make your kids do chores?!?

    • Unfortunately, our kids will never make us self-sufficient if that what you mean.

      I find it takes almost as much (or sometimes more) effort to get your kids to do chores. In fact, just getting them to clear their plate after dinner and putting their dirty clothes in the hamper can be a monumental excersice of repetition and frustration.

      The satisfaction comes, I think, from knowing you’re making your kid(s) a little more self-sufficient and capable. Why are parents still coddling their teenager? I’ll try to cover that in the next post…
